Record review is fast, high-stakes work spread across tools. We plan to build one platform to speed timelines, surface gaps, and verify AI output
Record review is high-stakes: teams must move quickly, but every insight must remain legally defensible. In practice, records, notes, and timelines live in different systems, making chronology building and case summaries slow and repetitive, especially when evidence and provenance are hard to track.
The goal is to design and build a platform to:
- Accelerate the creation of case chronologies and summaries
- Improve data completeness by surfacing missing data early
- Increase trust by making AI outputs verifiable, citeable, and easy to review and edit
- Unify workflows so records, notes, timeline, and exports are connected in one place
I used rapid prototyping and tight feedback loops to converge on the right product direction quickly.
The problem was clear, but early on the solution space was broad and the framework was not yet defined. I partnered closely with Product and Engineering to drive alignment through rapid, high-fidelity prototypes (often accelerated by AI tooling) and quick validation, enabling us to pressure-test assumptions early and iterate fast.

Multi-panel workspace: by replacing tab interaction with a flexible multi-panel workspace, reviewers can compare evidence, draft notes, and use AI without losing context.
Problem
Medical record review is not a single-thread task. Users frequently need to read the timeline, draft a note, ask AI a question, and check the original medical record, often within minutes. Previously, these lived in separate places, causing heavy context switching, lost place, and higher risk of missing details.
Goal
Enable users to work across multiple data types at once while keeping the experience clear, fast, and defensible.
Solution
I redesigned the case detail experience into a responsive, multi-panel layout where users can:
- Open 1-3 panels at the same time (e.g., Timeline + Note + Ask AI)
- Reorder panels to match their workflow (left/center/right)
- Resize panels to prioritize what matters in the moment
- Drill down to source records (e.g., click page references and open the original record in another panel)
Agentic AI: By shifting from chat to goal-driven workflows with context, web search, and prompts, legal teams can get faster answers that remain verifiable and reviewable.
Problem
Record review is not a single Q&A flow. It is a workflow where users read evidence, compare timelines, draft notes, and cross-check standards of care. In a chat-only model, users must translate that workflow into prompts, and they still cannot easily validate what the AI used or why it reached a conclusion.
Insight
Users need to know what the AI is grounded on, what sources it referenced, and how to review and refine the output.
Solution
We introduced Agent mode and redesigned the AI experience to shift from answering questions to running workflows, with explicit controls for context, sources, and repeatable prompts. The interface is built for review and verification, so teams can move faster without sacrificing defensibility.
